At A Glance

We are seeking a board-certified physiatrist licensed in Virginia to serve as Medical Director for three days per week in an inpatient rehabilitation facility.

In this role, as the Medical Director, responsibilities include:          

  • Manage new Admissions
  • Take care of approximately 6 patients per day including: managing new admissions, daily rounding and completing notes based on agreed schedule with facility partners and patient needs
  • Attend quality assurance and policy review meetings on a regular basis
  • Oversee and support ongoing continuing education and in-servicing of staff
  • Serve as clinical leader who helps ensure that exceptional patient care is delivered by fostering positive collaboration among care teams through open communication

  • MD/DO degree from accredited medical school
  • Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Active medical Virginia state license and DEA license in good standing
  • Proficiency with EMR
